- When I am not busy: taking care of my 3 girls, my husband, my house and property, working my 8-5, doing homework, gardening, repairing rips in jeans, washing dogs, and various other tasks; I am busy making something with my hands. It might be a quilt, a batch of candles, a pine needle basket, or just a mess. It has been proven that I absolutely cannot sit still without working on something. It is one of my goals in life to learn to do all I can with my own hands. If I see something I like, my first thoughts are; how can I make that, and can I make it cheaper?
